THE FILTRATION AND DRYING DIVISION

The Filtration and Drying Division was established in 1996. Within 3 months of its inception the company's dynamic approach to product development was rewarded with a SPUR award by the DTI to support the development of its new range of filter dryers. The company has not looked back since. The CT Filter Dryer was launch in June 1997 at the ACHEMA exhibition in Frankfurt, and the division has since manufactured over 60 units in less than 3 years.
Charles Thompson's approach towards excellence in product development has now been further rewarded with a SMART award for INNOVATION.
Just when the filter dryer was thought to have reach its limits in terms of drying performance, microwave drying technology has been added to revolutionise the product and force a step change in technology. Products that can take days to dry by conventional methods can now be processed in hours.

The Charles Thompson approach has always been to fully develop and test its products in-house, discussing concepts with major clients to ensure a product is developed to fully satisfy the customers needs but also ensuring the product is right first time. Our Policy is for Charles Thompson's to undertake the development risks and not our customers.
